Following the decision not to visit London for a few months, or at least till Sound City is out of the way, S22 will play the following locations:
Somerset (somewhere near Glastonbury), Chester (Scotts' home town), Leeds and possibly Lucas' home town Huddersfield for nostalgia. Meanwhile, the band are planning a trip to Brittany, Northern France for the beginning of Autumn. Toby is due to spend 6 weeks in Mexico starting on July 6th, and Mark is on holiday right now for 2 weeks. The band move in together for the summer on May 17th.
LONDON
S22 are due to visit London this summer following the visit of a strange Angel connected to former Take That star Gary Barlow.
The band are still without a manager but feel the need for one now more than ever, especially with October's Radio One FM Sound City looming on the horizon. The band hope to enlist a manager before late June, when they are expected to travel to London.
THE FISH QUAY FESTIVAL
The band played probably their best ever set in front of a full 300-strong crowd at last weekend's festival in North Shields.
Playing on the Dolphin Stage directly after the crowd-pleasing "Wild Cats of Kilkenny", S22 managed to win over the initially hostile crowd with a set comprising: Dissociation, '76, 3 hours to Sunrise, Freedom is Free, Down the Light and Worker.
The whole gig will soon be available on video to order.
NORTH OF LONDON II
North of London II, the follow up to 1997's North of London compilation CD, will be launched in Late June/early July. Featuring S22's "'76", the longest and main track on the double-CD, the album will feature more local artists from Tyneside and Wearside than last year's effort. The launch gig will be held late June.
